I'm Baaaack.....

As if anyone really cares, right?! It's been so long, but I finally have a new computer so there is much catching up to do!

Let me take you back to the end of March....

Kensie had her dance concert the last week of March. It was a crazy month getting her to rehearsals! Being a month away from having a baby did not help. That, and the fact that my parents (who normally are champs and watch the boys for me) were in Thailand and Japan the whole month!! But, we made it, and it was a great show. I was sad that I didn't get to monitor this year and be backstage with all the girls, but I gave Kensie my camera and she snapped some pics.

Kensie's dance concert this year was The Snow Queen. The sixth grade class performed Rooftop Gardens, and were excited to have pretty costumes this year!!

It was a great concert, and a great year of dance for Kensie. This year she graduated to "Big Sister" status, and had fun taking care of her "little sister" during concert week.

March randomness

Kensie participated in the school's Battle of the Books and made the all-star team who competed and won against the teachers.

Landon got booted from the crib and is now sleeping with the big boys. It's going well, except for the time they told him there was a dead body in the corner and he was scared to death for a week.

Kensie and I went to New Beginnings! I can't believe she's going to be in Young Womens soon!

We saw Rise Of The Guardians in the theater. I highly recommend it.

Landon still hates the car wash.

The weather went from sunny days at the park to cars driving through our front yard and knocking out all the utility boxes (again).

This pregnancy

I realize that I haven't posted much about this pregnancy. Frankly, it's probably because up until this point I have had so much going on that I seem to forget to think about being pregnant. On the other hand, I have had so many pregnancy related issues this time that it's nearly impossible to not think about being pregnant all the time.
I realize this makes no sense.

I keep thinking, "once I make it through Christmas, once this school project is done, once Kensie's dance concert is over, then I can focus on having another baby." Well, that list is never ending!

Now is the time to focus! I've got three weeks left. I've been so consumed with "getting through" this last pregnancy (finger pricks all day- thank you, gestational diabetes, non stress tests, ultrasounds, so many appointments, pubic bone separating- again, crazy dreams that leave me wondering if my baby has ears) that I forget to think about the wonderful outcome.

When I take the time to think about holding this baby boy, mugging on those little cheeks, and smelling baby neck, it makes it all worth it.

I can't wait!
