I can't believe it!

Tomorrow's the "big day". I haven't decided if knowing the exact day and time that you're having a baby is a good thing or a bad thing. Being as I went through labor and a c-section with the first two, I'm looking forward to going in pain-free, having taken a shower and not looking (or acting) like a complete mess. On the other hand, not being in any pain means I can actually think about all the "fun" stuff I have to look forward to...major surgery, not being able to eat until I can prove to the nurse that I farted, bleeding, walking like Quasimodo for the first few days, sore boobs, the list goes on and on. I keep telling myself that it's all worth it in the end, which it is. I just can't wait to have him here & to hold him! It'll be great!!

Some guy trying to sell me a vacuum yesterday asked me if I was pregnant. I sure hope at this stage that you can tell I'm pregnant & not just a fat cow! I would have been really depressed if it had been a couple of weeks from now & I was toting around a newborn.

Toothless

So, Kensie lost another tooth last night. Or should I say we pulled another one out. Why do we say "lost" anyway? Kensie keeps those things in sight at all times lest she lose out on her dollar from the tooth fairy! She'd never lose one!! Anyway, after about an hour of it hanging by a thread (or root, as the case may be) Matt finally convinced her that she'd better let him pull it out or she might swallow it in the night & miss out on her tooth fairy money. That was all the convincing she needed! I must say that she looks cute without it. Hopefully she doesn't inherit my hideously crooked adult front teeth that plagued me throughout elementary & middle school! I'm hoping she'll get Matt's good genes on this one....then we won't have to pay for braces!!

It's true. I've finally entered the world of blogging (far too late, I'm afraid)! Thanks, Jos, for getting me going. It was one of those things that I said I'd get around to eventually, but I figured now is as good a time as any! More to come!
