Thanksgiving

We didn't do a Thanksgiving dinner at my parent's this year and the Holbrook's stayed in AZ, so for the first time I did an entire Thanksgiving dinner all by myself! It was so much fun!! We brined the turkey and it was fabulous. I made way too much food, but that's the best part, right?!

It was fun staying in pj's all day and just having a dinner with our family. The boys loved their gigantic drumsticks! Matt and Kensie did all the dishes after, which was my favorite part of the day haha!

We did go over to mom and dad's to hang out later, and the kids had fun putting on a puppet show with the cousins.

YW fun

We've been having lots of fun in YW lately! We had a Mia Maid fall photo shoot with Colette, made sugar cube temples with all the girls, and helped make hats for the homeless. I really love these girls! I'm so glad I am back with them. They teach me so much!

Halloween Festivities

Halloween was so fun this year! The weather was great all day. I got to help at Lincoln's class party, and Landon and Aidan had fun hanging out with the big kids! We had our traditional dinner in a pumpkin and spooky ghost cake for dinner, and Matt took the kids out trick-or-treating.

When they returned, the dump, sort, and trade began! They had so much candy that I ended up making some cookie bars topped with all sorts of chocolate candy the next day!

6 Months Old

What a fun baby! Aidan is getting so big, and is such a happy kid. He is sitting up on his own now, and finally started liking solid food. I hate that he is growing up, but at the same time I love seeing him learning new things every day!

6 month stats:

16 lbs. (30th percentile)

28 in. (90th percentile)

October has been so beautiful and mild! I've been enjoying the view from the house, prepping a ton of tomatoes for freezing, and taking walks with the kids.
