December Instagram Dump

This is our elf, Eddie. He's a good elf. After visiting the North Pole at night he comes back and hides (most of the time). He does not trash the house, create elaborate Lego scenes, or make a mess while cooking breakfast. I feel bad for the families who got naughty elves ;)

Christmas Day In The Morning

What a great Christmas! The kids got up around 6:30 and we headed down to see if Santa came! He did, and they were all so excited! We spent the morning playing with toys, eating breakfast burritos, and opening more gifts. We got a TON of board games from Grandma and Grandpa Holbrook, so we spent all day playing them. So much fun! Later, we went to my parent's house for more present opening fun. Landon was thrilled with his Thor costume from Grandma and Grandpa. It was a fun, relaxing day, and one that I am always sad to see end.

Christmas Eve

I love Christmas Eve at my parents'! So festive and nostalgic. We're getting pretty fancy with our Nativity. The Hallman's brought a bunch of costumes, and mom got some fun accessories. Dallin wanted to be baby Jesus, so Aidan was an honorary angel with Kensie and Mary. Thomas and William had to be Joseph and Mary again :)

Gingerbread house: post-disaster :(  I bumped it while making dinner and the kids' surprise came tumbling out! They didn't get to break the house open on Christmas Eve this year, but they did get a gold coin for every nice thing they did leading up to Christmas!

Temple Square

I got to enjoy the lights at Temple Square twice this year. Once with the youth, and once with our family & Grandma and Grandpa Holbrook. The kids loved the candy windows at Macy's! It was COLD, but so beautiful!

Party On!

What are the holidays without a million parties, right?! 

We partied it up most of December. I had my favorite party, a.k.a. December gourmet dinner night, and came home with some fab gifts. It's always such a fun night!

The ward party/breakfast was a hit with the kids, as usual. Santa came, and the kids (well most of them) were excited to sit on his lap! Aidan was fascinated by him!

The annual Young family party was another fun one! The kids mostly just love playing basketball with the big boys (my cousins) and follow them around all night! Santa came this year, and Landon was still unsure! Lincoln played a Christmas song, but Kensie chickened out of playing hers...

On the way home we drove through Christmas Street. So festive! I love Christmas lights!!

Grandma May's annual Christmas party is one we always look forward to! We don't see everyone as much as we should, and it's always fun to catch up. Grandma gave all the kids pioneer button toys and they had fun with them forever!
