Let's Make A Memory

Want to play?

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Count me in! I remember being choir director and feeling anxious about having people come. I always knew I could count on you and your beautiful alto voice-even when I asked you to sing at that RS Christmas thing. You made my life easier and I appreciate that immensely!

The other memory I have is of watching you with your kids at church. You are such a good mom and you don't get flustered or rattled. Some days I'd like to strangle my kids in church, and my face shows it, but yours never does. They are lucky to have such a patient mommy.

Oh, oh, oh!!! Then there was the book club at Dana's house with the, um, interesting conversations. That was funny.

You're a good friend and I'm glad to know you. Well, you got several memories instead of just one:-)

Before I really knew you, I secretly admired you and your hair. I tried to copy you by slicking down my sides, held down with little clips and then majorly poofing the back.

Another memory is when you and Matt made fun of me for years about the falling over the gate incident (I knew you would choose that one).

But perhaps the most vivid memory that I cannot forget for some reason is when you and Matt were engaged. We were all driving in the car and you two would stick your tongues out, touch tongues and then laugh. It kind of made me sick, but at the same time made me really jealous...

Fortunately for me we are related so I do have many memories of hanging out with you! ;) One of the things I remember from childhood is going to your home to play and hanging out in the cool playhouse you had (under the stairs). I also remember putting on our swimsuits and playing in the hot tub in the basement of your home.

Last time we were visiting your folks, your cute dad took my kids downstairs, filled the tub and let them stand at the edge and play with ducks or boats...(can't remember that part. I believe Lincoln was there as well and you came by later to pick him up. It was a big highlight of that trip for my kids. I'm so glad they had the chance to play with your kids as well!

I remember when I first came to the ward. I immediately picked you out as someone I wanted to be friends with. You have a friendly manner about you that quickly makes itself known.

I too noticed how you are with your children. I could tell that you had your stuff together. I like people who have their stuff together.

Since then, I have not been disappointed at your character. You are always so positive and kind speaking of others. You help me to want to be better. Unfortunately, I am a slow learner. HA!
