Flashback Friday

It's been awhile.....
In honor of my brother {who will be returning home soon from a semester in Japan}, I give you some lovely gems from my trip to Japan in 1990.
Me at the Kiyomizu Temple drinking for wisdom. Why didn't I drink for wealth, too........

My teenage angst out in full force while waiting for a train.

At the Hiroshima Peace Gardens. I'm sure there's no need to draw attention to my lovely appearance {permed hair, stylin' glasses, stone-washed overall shorts, and a fanny pack. Can't get much "radder" than that}.

At the Noritake Craft Center. I'm pretty sure that's the china I picked out for my wedding. I'm not kidding.

This one's not from my trip but I had to include it. My brother sent it to me. Gotta love Japanese translations!

Not only were they stone-washed overalls but they were GUESS! That just made them 100 times radder.

Natalie how fun! I think I had those overalls and thought they were the cutest clothes ever!!! That is cool you had an opportunity to see Japan. I think all I did that year was listen to the Bangles non stop.
