Kensie was singing this all morning before school:
"Yip, yip, yip, yip, doin' the mormon polka" {name the episode & tell me the real words and I'll be very impressed....and happy to know that we're not the only backyardigan fans}
Speaking of "mormon"....

Kensie- "Mom, am I a mormon?"
Me- "Yes."
Kensie- "Who else is a mormon?"
Me- "Anyone who belongs to our church."
Kensie- "But they can't be a mormon if they have earrings all over in their ears, right?"
p.s. We drove by Paul Millsap's (Papa Mills, as Lincoln calls him) house yesterday. He lives in my parent's ward boundaries. Kensie was in heaven!

Isn't it the Tuba Polka? It's something like that but it's driving me nuts thinking about it.
Okay, we are big Backyardigans fans here. I almost did a post about them once. I surprisingly don't know the song, but if Sam were awake I'd ask him. We love to listen to the soundtracks in the car.
Who is the new friend who commented on our cookbooks blog? Do you know her or is she a stranger?
"Doing the wormin polka!" Sadly, we are fans, too. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Surf's Up episode.
Would the Mormom Polka require the dancers to be a Book-of-Mormon length apart from each other?
Ok...so I found your blog through Betsy's and I just have to say..."Dancin' the Wormin' Polka. Yip-yip-yip! Dancin' the Wormin' Polka." But it's so funny that she sings "mormon" instead because we had to rewind it the first few times we heard it because we thought it was Mormon too! :) So funny! And yes...we love Backyardigans at our house! :)
