Bored is Good

I'm bored. And it's good. I'm working today- sitting at the model homes for my boss because she is tired of being bored. But I am liking it. Not a soul has set foot through the doors since I got here {yes, the market is slowing down}. For a while I read {you mean I don't have to wait until the rest of the house is asleep to read? Bliss!}, then I spent some time staring at the wall {can't remember the last time I just sat & did nothing}. It is quiet. Oh, so quiet. I'm sure I've never experienced this level of quietness before in my life {or for at least 6 years}. I used to despise being bored. Today, it's a welcome change. Go ahead, be bored. I dare you. You might like it {for a few hours, anyway}.
