Got Oil?

We had an amazing Enrichment night last night. It was our "Christmas party", so we enjoyed a nice meal and program. Our theme this year for RS has been all about light- let your light so shine, etc, etc. The program was taken from The Ten Virgins, a book by Emily Freeman with pictures by Simon Dewey. I've always loved the story of the ten virgins, but this book made it all the more real for me. There is also amazing music that goes along with the book. I was lucky enough to be able to sing one of the songs for the program. The whole program was very powerful and reminded me that I need to focus more on making sure I have "oil in my lamp" so I'll be ready when I need it. It was a wonderful evening. I always love these times with the sisters- the spirit is so abundant when we all gather together. I think this is a book that everyone needs. It would make a great Christmas present {hint, hint!}.
