Flashback Friday

I've been feeling very nostalgic about dance for the past few weeks. I've watched almost all of my dance videos from high school and college- which is no small feat. Oh, how I miss it! One day, when time and money permits, I will at least take classes again....and hopefully teach. I've had tremendous experiences through dancing that I otherwise would never have been exposed to, and I am so grateful for that. I've learned who I am as a person. I've made wonderful friends, met amazing teachers, and grown to love movement and music in a way that I will never forget- even if I never dance another step {which would be impossible}.

*the photo was taken during a performance in college. I'm holding a hard-boiled egg....only in the modern dance department! It was actually one of my favorite pieces to perform.
